General Classes
Attendance, Cancellation, Refund + Behaviour Policy
At UNMASKED Studios, class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure each student receives individual attention and a supportive learning environment. When a student enrols in a class or program, their place is reserved specifically for them for the full duration of the term or session.
• ATTENDANCE + PAYMENT
As places are limited and reserved in advance, missed classes are not refundable, credited or transferable.
We understand that occasionally special circumstances arise and life can sometimes get in the way. In these situations, a make-up class may be offered if space is available in another suitable class, however this cannot be guaranteed. If this occurs, please reach out as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist where we can. If a student is unable to attend a class, we ask families to notify us as soon as possible before their class commences.
Thank you for your understanding as this policy allows us to maintain small class sizes and provide a consistent learning environment for all students.
If after the first session a student feels the class is not the right fit, families may withdraw and a full refund for the remaining sessions will be provided.
• CLASS CANCELLATION
If UNMASKED Studios needs to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, families will be offered a make-up session, credit toward a future class, or refund where appropriate.
• BEHAVIOUR
UNMASKED Studios aims to create a positive, respectful and supportive environment where all students feel comfortable to participate and express themselves. Students are expected to treat others with kindness and follow the teacher's guidance so everyone can enjoy the class.
If behaviour becomes unsafe or repeatedly disrupts the learning environment, UNMASKED Studios may pause a student’s participation and work with families to determine appropriate next steps. Our priority is always the safety, wellbeing and positive experience of all students.
Parents and carers are asked to ensure students arrive ready to participate.
Spectrum Classes
Attendance, Cancellation, Refund + Behaviour Policy
UNMASKED Studios’ UNMASKING Spectrum classes are designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where neurodivergent students can explore creativity, communication and confidence through dramatic arts.
• PAYMENT
Spectrum sessions are invoiced weekly to provide flexibility for families.
• ATTENDANCE
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled session, we ask that families notify us as early as possible. Due to the small group size and reserved places, missed sessions may still be invoiced.
If after the first session the program does not feel like the right fit for a student, families are welcome to discontinue and no further sessions will be invoiced.
• STUDENT SUPPORT
Our goal is to create a safe, calm and supportive environment where every student can participate in a way that works for them. Families are encouraged to share any information that may help us support their child’s experience in class.
Students may take short breaks or regulate in ways that support their participation, and we aim to provide a flexible environment where students can engage at their own pace.
If a student requires a higher level of support than the class setting can safely provide, we will work with families to explore appropriate options, which may include adjusting the program or discussing alternative supports.
• BEHAVIOUR
If behaviour becomes unsafe or significantly impacts the ability for the class to run safely, we may pause participation and work together with families to determine the best next steps.
Our priority is always the safety, wellbeing and positive experience of every student.
Parents or carers may be asked to remain nearby or reachable during sessions in case additional support is required.
